Oh, <i>please</i>!<br /><br />Her: Yeah, it's been going on...<br /><br />Me: Yeah, yeah, I know, I just - what IS it about this game anyway? It's never been a thing in this country, and now all of a sudden it's a thing now. Why?<br /><br />Her: Yes it has, in California-<br /><br />Me: Well maybe, but California doesn't <i>count</i>. I think that anyone who hates the vuvuzela never had the opportunity to be personally part of soccer celebrations where he could actually blow the vuvu himself.<br /><br />The thing about the vuvu is that you should not sit outside the celebrations complaining about the noise. You should join in with the celebrations.<br /><br />I was at one of the fanparks last night watching our own team beat France 2-1. It was like we were in the stadium with the spectators. We blew those vuvus to our hearts' content. So much, that I ended with vuvu-mouth. Slightly swollen lips.<br /><br />Today I will be at the game between the U.S.A. and Algeria at 16:00 local time.
