Dan, your post on Pyro this morning was excellent. You have a knack for hitting me right between the eyes. Thank you for continuing to do so, brother.
My first impression of the new site was, "hey, Dan got the copyright to TBN's next logo or something :)" Of course, I soon realized there wasn't near enough purple or gold in it to qualify for that. I think the site looks much brighter with the blue background.
The blog is still in flux, I see. Like the new post header...
I have to admit, it looks great, and it got me to try out a test blog...I am worried about losing all my posts, I have already switched to beta, but didn't do the updated template stuff...
Kim -- thanks. And as to the banner, "As if!" No, I didn't do any of this; a smarter friend took pity on me. (Actually, all my friends are smarter, except in their choice of friends.)
Chris -- again with an "As if!"
Jared -- TBN. Ouch.
Thanks everyone else, too. I like it. May make one more change, today. All that space on the left is just staring at me.
What's wrong with the color? It's pretty. My daughters wear colors like this all the time. Very nice graphics, simple, not garish. I like it. The purpelish-pink links, though--a bit too Libbiesque.
Telling you what dainty elitists won't tell you, and saying it the way they won't say it, since 2004.
You're welcome.

Wow! This is great! I love your banner. Did you make it yourself?
I'm so jealous.
At the risk of being accused of spamming your comments box, I will ignore the fact that you have yet to link me.
I won't take it personally.
Oh my, you're royal now! What did Thomas Paine call kings? "Crowned Ruffians," I believe!
not very emergent ... more of a classic - if that's the message you want to send, go for it ...
aaaahhhhhh......

Keep up the great work.

I like it. And Kim, he doesn't link to me either. :/
Dan,
Nice!
Pastor might finally read it! You know, because the whole "look & feel" thing was holding him back.
Great!
And the background color just perfect!
Good work. And congratulations for Your courage to change it.

Yeah, but now there's no space on the left and it looks like your post-content is clinging, terrified, to the side of the the window...
It's a very nice colour, though, this girly mauve.
Boy, you don't bother shooting to wound, do you, Libbie?
Don't listen to her. It's manly blue.
But it would be nice if things weren't so Leftist.
Ahhh. That's better.
OK this:
"Boy, you don't bother shooting to wound, do you, Libbie?"
got the first actual belly laugh of the holiday season. Thanks a bunch.
Is that robin's egg blue?

Baby blue and lavender with lots of curlycues. Nuff said. The heading is nice.
Carla and Kim. At least he READS your blogs. :)
Must be the season for makeovers. I have had one too, thanks to a smarter friend.
Sorry man, I meant to say that my blog had a makeover not me. I am beyond help on that front.
Very cool
