Good one ... I actually heard a speaking say something to effect, "God wants to speak to our hearts not our brains. Let's turn off our brains to allow Him to speak to us."
Ouch - while his intention was good, i.e., sometimes our thinking isn't what God is speaking and we can make it difficult for Him to get through to us, there are much better ways to communicate that than to say that we should check our brains at the door.
Telling you what dainty elitists won't tell you, and saying it the way they won't say it, since 2004.
You're welcome.
