It's been years since I saw that Python sketch (and of course I had never seen the one with Feldman in it).
Am I imagining things, or is one of the characters named Obadiah?
Seems to be the very inverse of one-upmanship. One-downmanship?
Yes, Feldman/Jones's character is "Josiah," and Chapman's character in both sketches is "Obadiah."
