I've looked at this a few times and can think of a couple of people who really exhibit perpetual immaturity. What struck me today is that our culture really embraces immaturity. By idolizing youth, we idolize what we think it is to be young. Often that just leads to irresponsibility and disrespect of wisdom. Oh, and people who act their age are no fun if they are over 21. Sad, but is this not the kind of thing our culture encourages?
