He needs to spend some time whipping sense into crazies like Chris Rock, who said in last Saturday's WSJ "I'm a black guy, so everything I do is black."

Here's one for everybody to work with: pay attention to how people describe others and realize how infrequently anybody says "This White guy came running down the street" but will always make the special effort to fill in any other color.
Even if it means absolutely nothing to the story.
When we stop pointing it out so much, it becomes a lesser issue.
