In the meta on the latest post at Green Baggins (in which a recent work of Greg Beale was discussed):

FTH: I generally find that Beale is the master of letting his evangelical tradition interpret Scripture…and rhetorically packaging it as though he is actually doing legitimate historical work.

RH: We’re cessationists; we don’t practice the gift of slander here. Besides, you shouldn’t be using it without a misinterpreter.

I used to really enjoy WGN news. I dunno which is worse, their constant Obamapandering or Pittsburgh's 10 minutes of Steeler coverage at the start of every broadcast BEFORE telling us that Godzilla has been spotted in the area.

I'm proud to say that I'm one of the 4% of Canadians who do not like Obama as the U.S. President. :)

I'm pretty much obamad out by now with how much attention the Media has been giving him. I mean I really do not need to know what he was wearing on the night of his inaugeration! And I am soooo tired of the Medias handling of Obama. Mabye those two felt the same way before that (gotta be some kind of mental illness... obamanitus) happened to them :)

Well, I don't know how to say this: Been in the studios, met the anchors, and Robert Jordan (the male anchor you see in the video) claims to believe in Jesus (Jackie Bange, the female anchor, I don't know). I've met them both, and they seem genuinely nice. Whether or not they are saved, dunno.

As for goofy stuff happening inbetween commercials, in my regular broadcast days as a morning and noon meteorologist, inbetween morning cut-ins on the "Today" show I announced golfball sized hail was going to fall, and immediately I got pelted by staff with golfball sized paperwads, complete with silly staff faces joining in on screen. Somebody was rolling tape when it happened. It easily made the "blooper" tape every station has but denies they have. :-)

I wonder if Sola ever saw one of my broadcasts...

Was that just a routine? I thought it was an actual newscast. At least that is what our local news looks like these days.
