Wow. This could explain a lot... a laugh-a-lot

Here at the Biblical Christianity blog, we sometimes like to start the week off with a chuckle. Sometimes chuckles and screams can mix.

Did a generation grow up, permanently scarred...by this?

PS — this post displays fine in Firefox, odd in IE. Can't fix it from work.

PPS — but you really should be using FF anyway, so... as we say at work, Not supported!

PPPS — Hah! Fixed!

Okay - I'm expecting her to jump up at any moment with her knife out and go after the closest person! Yikes! Maybe she should be called Chuckie!

...or go back to Evil Dead 2 where she belongs.

The snap-around head-turning is almost an eery harbinger of Linda Blair's future demonic role....

yikes!

Might be interested to study how many people who participated in or watched this commercial later grew up to be Obama supporters.

Just sayin'.

Creepy. I had the same image come to mind that No Longer Blind had. I don't like that image.

Didn't that baby later end up in a cake?

This doll (she wets her diaper) IS an Obama supporter.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw the first few seconds was the movie "Exorcist."

And who uses firefox?

That's funny - we say "not supported" at MY workplace too!

I thought the snappy head-turning was added in... but no, that's part of the original.

Very very creepy.

Like her head should spin around next. All the way around.

First, I use Firefox lest malaria infested mosquitoes swarm out of my computer.

Second, that is freaky and now I will have nightmares. Thanks alot, Dan.

wow thats like an old girly version of tickle-me-elmo..for some reason it made me think of that video of elmo burning up while laughing...hmmm

"Maybe she should be called Chuckie!" --> man I was scarred by Chuckie, I would not sleep with my closet door open in fear that my dolls would come alive at night and try to kill me :/

"And who uses firefox?" excuse me I do too! and I'll be ever so faithful to it...no chrome and certainly no safari..tried 'em both, I'll stick to FF.

Whoa.

And FF rules.

Oh dear. Reminds me of a Twilight Zone episode that starred Terry Savalas and a doll named "Talking Tina". I'll never forget what Talking Tina said to Savalas at the end of the episode (MAJOR SPOILER ALERT!!!!):
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
"My name is Talking Tina, and you better be nice to me...."

Susan said...

(This, after Talking Tina had Savalas's wife fall down the stairs [I think] and die....)

(I mean his on-screen wife.)

Not use FireFox? Dan I think we've come to a serious theological break! Its well known that only schismatics use IE.

I think you misread me.

That doll certainly does remind me of the laughing deer head. After seeing that, I'm afraid my own hand might try to kill me and I'll need to take a chainsaw to it.

Of course, it's possible I could just call the doll repairman. "Yup, here's your problem. Someone set this thing to evil!"

Now, quit picking on Internet Exploder. What did it ever do to you, anyway???

P.D. Nelson said...

Dan I think I did misread you, but then I was reading this while nursing a fever so that's my excuse. Not a great one I will admit.

Works for me! Hope you're better.
