While Shepherds Watched Their... HUH?
You will never look at shepherds the same.

As a Pastor, I'm going to have to think long and hard about the implications of this new teaching about shepherds on my congregation...
bovinian - my first thought was "that's related to cows, not sheep!"
But, upon further reflection, (and checking in Thesaurus.com), I realized that The WordSmith
is at it again!
You're quite the clever and creative philologian, sir!
My readers keep me on my toes.
Oh, that is just Great! Thanks, Dan, I needed a good smile.

To your breed, your fleece, your clan be true.
If I were to respond "Wolf, ram, and hart," only Libbie might nod safely in response.
Fred,
I too thought of 'Babe'...
Oh Dan,
Now I'll have three boys pestering me to play that over and over again all day!
Cool.
Oh now, Julie, don't exaggerate.
It could have been worse.
MUCH worse.
Oh make that stop or I'll lose what remains of my mind!
That's even worse than
hamster dance
Badgers? Hamsters? They can't hold a candle to a chimpanzee riding on a Segway.
And is that an actual "Angel" reference? E. Clec. Tic.
Yeah. I shoulda warned somebody.
How...
What...
Dave said it best.
And I think this is an illustration of how some churches operate.
But really, how on earth did they get these mini-flocks of sheep to move en masse in the right ways? How many shepherds' hands or sheepherding dogs does that take, and how much planning and practice beforehand? Wow.
(Maybe my questions are answered in the video, but I watched it with the sound off.)
Wolf, ram and hart...
isn't that a bit like Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe?
And "Babe" refrences always make me think of my favorite quote from the show. "A little pig goes a long way..." But not nearly long enough. Now I'm hungry.
Welsh shepherds and their sheepdogs are always amazing but this one is tops.
Shepherds have fallen far. David wrote Psalms, and this is how they spend their time today?

The Squirrel
WOW that was awesome!
had you not mentioned the note I would not have caught it...
Hey Dan
Julie's "Hamster Dance" seems eerily familiar....
reminds me of people attempting to drive cars for some reason....
Now that just made me homesick, nostalgic for "woolly jumpers" and hungry, all at the same time.
After seeing this, the "Badger" and "Hamster" videos, I'm seriously starting to wonder if Dan's mind is like this box...
