I think I've found my cell phone!

The search for a cell phone. It started here, continued here... and maybe concludes HERE!

With... the Pomegranate!

This phone is truly amazing. Check it out: it has quite an array of features.

But even more specifically... it translates!

It's a harmonica!

And the real clincher: it makes coffee!

Go to the site, and you'll see it includes a projector and a shaver as well.

Sweet to have everything in one shiny little packages! (Hmm... wonder if I can load BibleWorks?)

You know, I just don't do practical jokes. Hope you chuckled. Now go here for the real story; and here as well.

Does it come in blue?

Or green? Though "The Avocado" may not sound as cool.

We really do live in the Jetsons (except for that flying car thing... I still want mine...)

Those Nova Scotians, at this rate, they'll soon pass the Japanise for cool tech!

"Japanese"

If only Blogger's comments page had spellcheck...

Nova Scotian? Does it play the fiddle, too?

Don't believe the hype!

I already have a Pomegranite and nothing ruins your morining faster than whiskers in your coffee.

LOL

Or burning your hand after picking it up too quickly post-brewing?

Then there's the awful inconvenience of receiving a phone call while brewing coffee...

...or slapping it to your face right after brewing a cup.

No good.
It doesn't come with remote keyless entry for my car or a garage door opener.

Darn! As soon as you get something the next best thing comes out. I'm bummed that it's so much thinner than my new tricorder.

lol! that was awesome :D
For second there I thought it was true...until it got to the coffee brewing part...it would have been a great evangelism tool if it were real :P

That Pomegranate Phone web page takes forever to load. Either it's part of the satire, or they're being BibChr'd (a la Slashdotted).

I was gonna say, that has to be the most hideous looking thing I have ever seen, at least in terms of an electronic gadget.

I was about to say "Dan! You're influencing me to commit lust of the eyes!!!"

Then I read the link.....You do realize that April Fools was a few weeks ago right? LOL!

God bless.

Stefan Ewing said...

That was one very expensively-done (expensively-done-looking) April Fool's prank, if that was the occasion.

Top marks to the geniuses who put together all that slick marketing material for the Pomegranate Phone!

Turns out to be an ingenious advertising ploy for Nova Scotia (I guess they're looking for a few good folks to move there?).

But I still want one.

What's up with Nova Scotians?Haven't they figured out that if you live in a really nice place the last thing you oughtta do is advertise it?

In my part of the world we'd pay that kind of money for propaganda to convince more folks NOT to come here... if it would work.

And, Squirrel, my friend... blogger comments does highlight misspelled words... or maybe that's just my Mac :0)

Um...yeah.

1. What Barbara said!

2. Steve Jobs need to hire those Nova Scotian geniuses!!!

Julie its not just Mac.
If you use Firefox you can install a neat complement (United States English Dictionary 3.0.3) that spell checks whatever you write either in a comment box, or your blog, facebook, twitter, you name it. :D
And if you speak other languages like spanish, you can download a Spanish dictionary that will spell check whatever you are writing in spanish...but you have to switch the dictionary which is really easy to do, just right click the word that is misspelled go to where it says languages (I guess, my windows is in spanish and says idiomas) and click on the dictionary you wanna use :D

That's true...it looks like a boring place to live in anyway, pretty but boring.

Alright, have switched to Firefox, because I really like spell checkers!

Aaron: I'm bummed that it's so much thinner than my new tricorder.I just want a communicator that will give me instant access to James White whenever I'm in a apologetics discussion...

Oh, you bad, bad man. What is a marvelous suggestion. Wouldn't that make for a hysterical video?
