Well at least the denomination was "baffled". That's one good thing.

In answer to your question...

everything else.

Let's see if I can count some of them.

1.) that there is a Christian denomination that is purposed for one race.

2.) that a man who so horribly abused his position of authority is still a reverend muh less being in charge of an entire denomination.

3.) that the denomination isn't baffled that such a man got even one vote much less 900 of them.

4.) that a reverend who claims to be repentant would then again break Scriptural commands by suing other Christians in court, and then unrepentantly justifies said sin in the name of God.

I'm sure I could think of some more.

I kept looking for a mention of ACORN in there when it dawned on me that he lost the election.

D'oh!

There are so many things wrong with that picture that my head is spinning. I'm finding myself saying "Come quickly, Lord Jesus" more and more.

I thought for sure I would see it was put out by the Onion.
Nope.

Obama should have Lyons and Scruggs over for a beer.

DJP,

My first comment here ever, I think. And, I comment on something as profound as this.

I just want to state what is obviously wrong with this picture:

Lyons was ROBBED!!!

(Not.)

DJP said...

There, now. That wasn't so bad, was it, Brad?

It was the accordian virtuoso that put me over the top. You keep posting content like that and your numbers are bound to sky-rocket. Imagine Frank's dismay!

DJP said...

Oh, no fears there. Frank's having a banner month. He joins yet another team blog, which Justin Taylor instantly dubs The Best Team Blog Ever! because of their record of... because of their accomplishments in... er, well, they have nobel intentions.

And James White mentions and links to him. Favorably. By name.

Word is, my DAOD and BSIL may name their baby after him.

"Turk Allen."

I'm just so glad to be able to say I knew him when.

Dan, come on... its not like he has a book deal.

"nobel intentions"

Trying to decide if that was intentional or not. I'm thinking not, because that's just the way your Dan-ish mind works. :)

Mine, OTOH, went into total bluescreen over this. You need to provide warnings for posts like this -

Warning - may cause faithful Baptists to break out the emergency whiskey...

I award Dan with the obscure Star Wars quote of the month.

Your reward is a a free book review of your upcoming book. I'll be expecting that in the mail.

Uh-oh...

She's thinking Reformed Baptists.

Or Scottish Baptists.

The only thing missing I think is a reference to the winning black president being a racist or uncle tom sellout by Lyons.

There seems to be a run on narcissistic, egotistic "I'm beyond the morals or laws of the common man" theme these days.
