That's neat. For a minute, I thought about trying to learn to play the balloon bass today.

Then I remembered that The Meaning of the Pentateuch came in Friday. Heheheh.

Nice. Where do you plug in the amp?

The drummer needs to get some pan lids for cymbals.

Ooh, by Sailhamer? Tell me what you think of it.

Then take up balloon bass.

That's the one! So far, the cover is awesome. And the first fourteen pages of the introduction rock. I only have....600 more pages to go in order to give you a fully-informed opinion.

Back to work!!

I dunno ... there's just something about the way these guys are dressed. I keep wondering if it were a three piece band, what would the other guy be wearing ... instead of what they would be playing.

Or yogurt cups... or fancy plastic deli soup containers, or whatever those were.

But the balloon bass takes the cake.

Ren't these the same guys from stomp or clang or whatever that Broadway play was?

Dan,

BTW, you should know that 11-year-old Tate just came into my office, wanting me to show him what's current on your blog.

Your 'fan base' may be wider than you think.

He likes the balloon base, the cat trying to run up the slide, and "Tico tico".

Thanks, Julie; that does make me happy.

There are probably a few fourteen year old boys who reeeaaally don't want their Moms to see this at this time of year. :)

But this actually comprises all three of my girls' favorite things to play with - boxes, balloons and string, as well as their favorite activity, which is any kind of band. I think I'm going to let them watch this and film their own version. Maybe my girls could open for these guys one day...

They are certainly talented. I enjoyed that. Doylene
