Shatner does Palin... who then returns the favor

I really like this. Good on O'Brien for doing it, given what he's done in the past.

(There's a commercial, and the video load slowly — but it's worth the wait.)

The look on Shatner's face is priceless. There's this double-take, as if he's thinking, "Wait -- is that... is that Tina Fey? Oh... no, no it's not. Oh my."

I don't think he expected this.

Conan: Good to finally see those two together.
Andy: I was starting to think they were the same person.

Zing! Random stuff like this is what made me start watching Conan in th first place. (Though I admit I have reached an age where I rarely see what's going on after 10 p.m. anymore).

That was a lot funnier then I thought.
Thanks for posting it.

Oh yeah... I think Shatner was taken by surprise! It's a lot easier to make fun of someone when they're not around.

That was FUN.

Nice. I agree, Shatner looked surprised.

Shatner's allowed to make fun of her, but hey wait, she made fun of him?! That's not supposed to happen in his world. Wonder what Shatner had to say to Conan after that....

According to Newsbusters and Sarah Palin's facebook page (www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=197710073434), it was no surprise to Shatner. But it was still cute!

Well, then that's some of the most understated, effective acting Shatner's done.

Seeing that look on Shatner's face: Priceless

It wouldn't surprise me if Shatner knew about the thing.

Shatner doesn't appear to have an agenda. Kinda decent guy from visible wordly perspective. He always invites Rush Limbaugh to his place for movies and football games and he interviewed Limbaugh in his new show. He's not part of the kook fringe Hollywood left or just even the regular Hollywood left like Will Smith (whose a great actor but liberal). I'm not saying he's conservative or even a closet conservative, but all around, a half decent guy who just wants to act and have fun and not use his acting career to spew Hollywood liberalism (at least from what I can tell).
