I get asked about them often enough that I thought maybe a sidebar might help n00bs.
Which of my idiosyncratic acronyms have I left out? (I.e. not ones in common use and readily-Googlable; just the one's I've cooked up in the lab.)

I am pretty certain you are eavesdropping on my conversations with my husband! I just said the other evening "What do you suppose DAOD means?"
Stop it! The listening in, I mean - not the posting. :~0
H&T
I thought HT was hat tip and H&T was hither and thither?
On this blog, anyway, hat-tip is usually h-t; HT is "Hither and Thither."
I guess I used to do H&T, but now it's HT, to save time. (Proof.)
Now that's evolution.
BCBT = Biblical Christianity Brain Trust
Yeah, it definately follow evolutionary theory. You used H&T as recently as October 2, 2009. It seems like a million years ago, so I'll just use that number.
It's, um, exponential.
While it isn't one of your coinages (as you pointed out here), DV doesn't appear to be "readily-Googlable," and I seem recall seeing people ask what it means just about every time it shows up.
EECC Eddie Eddings Calvinistic Cartoons opps H&G
Hey Dan will I see in Old Scaramento or what?
Rafe :)
HCIKG
Oh, so THAT'S what h-t means!
Obviously I know them now, Dan, but I agree with reallyrobins that DAOD is an important one that you use over and over again.
BSIL is another one that belong's there, though you don't use it as often, I find.
WDTBHTDWC? = "What does this blog have to do with Biblical Christianity"
Was TIWIARN your term or Phil's?
Oh, you also referred to Valerie as DW once.
(BTW, what is HCIKG??--Oh, wait--I remember now. Forget it.) :)
(Clarification: I think "DW" came from one of your FB comments.)
Phil, mocking Frank.
Hard to believe I'd use "DW," for fear of being accused of saying "dish washer."
"Well! I never!" [/hypothetical Valerie quote]
One does not have to be a noob to SOH (scratch one's head) over your acronyms. You are the KOA (king of acronyms).
