My own Obama SOTU anti-Bingo card

Using the previous template, I threw together my own card full of words, terms, and phrases I'm pretty sure we won't be hearing tonight.

Love to be wrong, though!

"Statist overlords" might make it, at least in a Simpsonian "I, for one, welcome myself and our statist overlords." sense...

LOL

Or as an abortive laugh-line.

"The way some tea-baggers and some kooks in talk-radio have overreacted, you'd think we were trying to be some sort of STATIST OVERLORDS! Heh-heh...heh...."

{ crickets }

HA HA HA HA HA!

Actually, we're studying the Constitution just now and it's really NOT funny to comprehend the difference in the general mind-set then and now.

Word verification: stagrin... "staggerin'"?

You forgot "abominable slaughter of the unborn" and the classic "above my pay grade".

Worth looking up the verses from Proverbs if you don't have them committed to memory : )

DS and I attended a Leadership Institute class last fall and they referred to homeschoolers as "the sweatshop of the conservative movement." Liberals fear us. Bwaa ha ha ha ha.....!

DS is in a college government class with about 200 other kids. The first day of class the prof. asked the students how many of them had read the Declaration of Independence. Shockingly, DS was the ONLY one in a class of 200 to raise his hand. Sadly, I suspect the much more lengthy Constitution would fare much worse.

There was a time that the kid who HADN'T read the Declaration would have been the odd kid out!

Is it any wonder that the electorate is so ignorant?

I know the update on the teleprompter thing says that it was for the media afterward and not the 6th graders. Whatever. Jon Stewart was pretty funny in mocking the incident (here's a link...at the Huff Post, of all places):

**Warning: There was some language there to be wary of.**
