I was a big ELP fan in the 70's.
Keith seems to be working a lot harder than Oscar.
THANK YOU. My 7 and 8 year old boys just started piano lessons this summer. Today's offerings resulted in a good 15 minutes free of brotherly strife on this happy LABOR DAY.
(By the way, I thought that Keith guy looked like a young blonde version of DJP. And yes, he was working harder.)
Holy cow.
Thanks for that, Dan. Talk about a schooling. All those proverbs about diligence keep popping into my head.
Off to the woodshed.
This guy must have been both one of the most talented and disciplined musicians I've ever heard. I can't imagine how much time he put into his craft. Thanks, Dan...was very nice to have on a rainy Monday holiday like today.
SWEET!
Love the Keith Emerson clip.
Thank you for this introduction to Oscar Peterson. I had somehow never heard him play before. The Dick Cavett interview was entertaining and enlightening. Sadly, Mr. Peterson passed away a few years back. Here is a link to his obituary, which I found interesting.
(I used the link tutorial you posted to create the link above -- thanks for that also!)
