As with his comments, so with his posts at his blog: infrequent. In fact, he did one post on his daughter's birth back in May, and then essentially "went black." Finally, his daughter passed a message along to daddy that he'd better get back to it. I'm glad she spoke up, because it produced two very nice little posts:
- For [some obscure figure] — wherein Trogdor notes that Justin Taylor opines that things are what they are... except in one particular area; and
- No true Scotsman would write a post like this — making short work of one particular atheist silliness
I mention these to you in the hopes that (A) you will profit by them, and (B) your visiting will encourage him to write more.
In fact, I feel something analogous to God telling me to tell him that he should Trogdorize more faithfully.

So, you feel led to encourage Trogdor to write more often?
ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzat whachu're tryin' to say ?
~8^P
Would my gizzard lie?
He meant to say Prophecy. As we all well know.
Would my gizzard lie?
ROFL!
Trogdor is right. To be closer to truth, the scenario should go:
Atheist: There are some Christians who are evil, wicked, immoral, reprehensible, etc. And there are those who perpetrate these acts and claim to be Christian.
Christian: Anyone who does such things has shown himself to not be a Christian - unless they seek God's forgiveness and redemption.
Fool: A-ha! It's the No True Scotsman fallacy! By relying on such a fallacy you show the weakness of your position, and admit defeat! Ah, but you haven't met the criteria, so Ilose, sucka me!
Does that make sense? Not everything is simple and clear cut. And there's no value in using dishonesty in an argument.
*SIGH*
Everyone knows the proper verb for Trogdor is not Trogdorizing, but "Burninating."
I must admit, Trogdor is most definitely my favorite commenter on your blog. He is also Bekah's (Baby Trogdor's) favorite commenter...even though she doesn't read all that much yet.
Mrs. Trogdor :o)
I feel so inadequate and out of place here.
:-)
Dan,
Thanks for the links. He really did a great job in both articles. I now find myself roaming through some older posts as well.
This actually motivates me to get back to blogging through Calvin's Institutes with my wife...and do a better job of writing.
I thought the proper term was, "Trogdorificating."
James, I believe you are correct.
Mesa Mike:
Actually, it's TransTrogdorificating. Just FYI.
Verification word: "conboxid": verb/noun; when your thread gets trolled.
Ex: "My blog's been conboxed!"
It's "Burninate"
