Thanks to reader Gil Sebenste for telling me about this.
UPDATE: reader Al Sends found that it was indeed one continuous shot -- but that take was number 72 out of 124.

Doggies!!!
First!
I love Ok Go's music videos. THis one was great, but I think I like a the Rube-Goldberg machine video more.
Great video and the song is growing on me...

Looks like somebody has been shopping at Ikea.
Wow, my dog's ability to shake, sit, and roll over seems really lame now. You can guess what I'll be doing with him today....
On this rainy Monday, that was So much fun! We'll be watching that one a few more times for sure. And come on, the music wasn't THAT bad--the beat adds a little bit of motivation for my exciting day of laundry and...laundry.
It's one shot. I believe it took them 69 takes or something in that general vicinity.
...and I spy with my little eye: an animal from the bovidae family at 2:50.
LOL, good catch Merrilee! Doesn't seem as well-trained as the other quadrupeds, does he?
Nothing beats their treadmill video.
Not done in one take. Learn how they made this video on the talented animals blog:

Thanks for that article, Jackie. I think I used imprecise terms -- by one "take" I meant one continuous shot, not the first attempt. It looks like it was one continuous shot.
So. Cool.
The music of my high school years finally gets some respect. ;) Quick, where's my Erasure singles???
My favorite video of theirs is still the treadmill video for "Here It Goes Again." But that was also their first hit and a really catchy song, and it was the first video of its "type" from them. It's not that I don't like the continuous shot thing, but this is the third time they've done it. One more and it becomes kind of a gimmick.
Also, I always find it interesting that the bald gentleman with glasses is the one singing in the videos, since it's the tallest one who is the actual lead singer.
Wow! According to the AKC I have the smartest breeds of dog and all she does is eat, drink, sleep, you know, and treats me like I'm sombody.
awww that is sooo cuteeeeee :D
...and a goat (at the 2:51 mark). =)
Neat!! And ditto what Rachel said about Erasure songs. :)
Well, that one is right up there with Mute Math's "Typical" video...
