I love the representations of “CBS, CNN, and the New York Times, as well as other mainstream outlets ...” at the beginning. That’s calling a spade a spade.
Bats are one of my least favorite kinds of animals. Ever. To compare Nancy Pelosi to it is, uh, making me wonder in silence.... (I'm not saying I like her at all. I'm just saying I hate bats THAT much.)
(And I just read through the comment thread. Guess most of you are just as hung up over the Pelosi-as-bat analogy as I, whether you like bats or not.
Oh, but wait a minute, could Klavan be trying to say that she's batty?? In that case I'd agree without having to wonder much. Democrats' policies are quite batty.)
HG, Dan got that from PJTV. It is essentially a conservative/libertarian Internet Television station. It's free to subscribe to, but they do offer paid memberships which come with access to more vids and features (like HD podcasts).
Part of my day includes listening/watching the latest videos, some of which are entirely news and punditry, others are comedy (like Klavan on the Culture), and others a mix of both (like Trifecta, or on the more comedic side, Tony Katz's Comically Speaking).
I don't care if that gal is a witch. Just as long as she doesn't tell me how big my cauldron should be or taxes me because it isn't energy efficient enough.

Telling you what dainty elitists won't tell you, and saying it the way they won't say it, since 2004.
You're welcome.

I can't decide which is funnier, Nancy Pelosi as Skeletor or a bat...
Anyone who can work Mr. Rogers into political commentary is a genius!
LOL. I haven't seen Skelator in years.
That was not a very flattering comparison... for the bat.
Narrator: “Christine O'donnell is running on a platform that is the exact opposite of Pelosi”
O’donnell: "I'm not a witch"
I actually laughed out loud Dan... thanks.
Oh my goodness! Where do you get this?! That was awesome :D
The poor bat... I like bats.
That....that
Wow...just wow.
That was incredible. Did you see the one he did on Islam. It was good too, but not as good as this one.
In other news, RCP (aka Real Clear Politics) has Boxer in the Toss Up column now!
Oh. My.

I see you have discovered PJTV.
