As the 2010 US election looms...

...look for more posts, including more political posts.

Remember, this blog is about... well, you know what it's about.

When the 2008 election loomed (and Pyro was dark), I posted a lot on the issues at hand. I expect to ramp it up a bit in the coming week-plus as well. Some of the news will be too timely to keep for Friday's HTs, so I'll share them as I see them.

Many Christian bloggers will remain aloof, and I think that's just fine. This is my choice. Your choices is whether you read them or not. If they harsh your mellow too much, or just don't interest you, you have my hearty permission to skip. There may well be a lot of them, short ones, mixed with the posts you normally prefer to read.

Just thought I'd give you a heads up.

So now... you know that!

This is such a mean spirited rude unChristian post. (thought I'd rev you up and prepare you for some of the comments you might get).

Maybe for old times sake you can grant a temporary reprieve for a couple of the people who got themselves banned. Okay maybe not. ;)

C'mon Dan. I mean how does Bibley stuff have anything to do with that corrupt, worldly, temporal realm of politics and government? I thought you were all about the gospel, dude. Jesus didn't way anything about politics and elections and stuff. Well, except for...OK never mind.

I was going to add another sassy post but now I'll be serious cuz you already got some sassy!

I look forward to reading what you post, I am a political junkie and read a lot of politics but not much from a Christian perspective. So it will be nice to hear it from you.

So you're going to tell us all to vote Democrat because Jesus told the rich man to sell all his possessions. And since Jesus was poor we should naturally vote for the party that would make us all poor, right?

I don't care what you blog.

Just as long as you sprinkle in pictures of fuzzy cute animals doing funny things.

Dan,

I'm one that doesn't blog about politics and doesn't comment about it much either. Call it Motherhood Amnesia, but I just don't feel well-informed enough to express myself.

But I do appreciate Christian bloggers whom I respect putting out the info :D

I’m good to go on this Dan, although I would appreciate it if you would refer to us as ”My Dear Honorable Readers”, I do believe we have earned it. ;-)

I saw a report that obama has had to cancel a visit to a sikh temple on a planned tour of India because of the (insert appropriate derogatory description questioning the intellectual capacity and general veracity of certain elements' claims) uproar it would elicit if he was seen wearing something on his head.
