Excellent drawing - a perfect likeness. How insensitive and unchristian of you, Dan, to post such an uncharitably accurate portrait of this misunderstood victim of society's meanies. You and the artist responsible should be ashamed.
Did you see President Obama at the memorial service/campaign rally last night?
I saw pictures. I understand there were two venues: the pep rally ra-ra memorial with the tee-shirts and bumper stickers was at U of A, and then there was a more "official" memorial somewhere else. Or was it both and the same thing?
Sadly, it was one and the same, or at least that is my understanding. I left the room when it interrupted the program I was watching, but I could still hear it from the next room. Michelle Malkin has a description of the events and the president's speech, if anyone is interested.
I kept thinking that you can't just take a guy off the street, give him instant fame and fortune, and expect a happy ending, no questions asked.
This time around he has a lot more to lose.
I see a parable in his story. The old man off the street, dressed in new clothes, shaved, and money in his pocket, but STILL the same old man. Dressing up the sinner didn't change him inwardly.
Telling you what dainty elitists won't tell you, and saying it the way they won't say it, since 2004.
You're welcome.

No... I can’t watch (or listen) to Obama and keep my blood pressure under control but I did enjoy watching this instead:

What a bootless misapplication of epidermis.
(I hope that was PC enough for folks out there.)
Oooo! Halcyon, you're going the right way for a stern talking-to.

Good call on the Ted Williams thing.
