Jonny Quest opening titles recreated with stop-motion figures
When I was a kid, I loved Jonny Quest. The opening sequence caught the feel of the cartoon show pretty well. Here's a reminder:
Now Roger D. Evans recreated it using action figures, and it's pretty slick:

What today's children's programs need: heroes with guns that shoot real bullets.
I am not joking.
That. Was. COOL!!!
I am so totally a Johnny Quest fan! I remember wating anxiously till 3:30 in the afternoon to watch it with my brother every day.
And to touch on David Kjos' comment... when they started shooting on Johnny Quest... someone got hit!
Funny how we came from Johnny Quest to having, on the one hand, shows so sanitized that no one gets killed or even seriously hurt by the hero, and on the other hand, video games rated "M" because of brutal, gory, content that numbs people to the effects and consequences of violence. (Run on sentence MUCH?) Both ends of that spectrum are totally imaginary - completely specious. Why can't our kids know that good guys should win, and sometimes they use guns to kill the bad guys.
Guns? What about those totally un-P.C. natives running half neked in the jungle with spears?
They were shouting "White devils defile our pristine rain forest! Away! Away!"
I always thought it would be great if some high school or college band played the JQ theme as their fight song. If you ran out onto the field with that song playing, you'd feel like Race Bannon--indestructible.
Funny I thought it was Dr. Quest Again we see there is nothing you can possess which I cannot take away.
Remember Clutch Cargo, and the way they superimposed human mouths over the cartoon characters' faces? Always gave me the willies.
