Just for the drummers: "Pretty" Purdie's ghostnotes

I'm musing several ideas for posts, and (A) haven't had time to write them out, plus (B) am unsure at which blog to plant 'em.

In the meanwhile...

Bernard "Pretty" Purdie's explanation and demonstration is fun and painful for any drummer to watch.

If it were a Tweet, the hash-tag would be #YouWillNeverDoThis.

Fingerstyle drums ... love it.

It's a low moment when you can't even finger-drum as well as a cat like this.

This is so good I can't stop laughing while listening to it. Thanks for posting.

Yes, Ma'am, I think that's appropriate.

The best part is that he's so good, he actually surprises himself.

I'd love to have this cat driving the beat for a swing band. Talk about wickedly dance-able.

Not a drummer - but I like it!

I'm listening to this for the umpteenth time and loving it still. His personality and ability are just infectious.
