One of my favorite Christian Contemporary songs from the same time that the Lord saved me.
I played this song (audio only) from the internet for Family Worship one time about a year ago and my 19 year old son said, "Wow, cool, how come we don't have that kind of music in church?"
I would make some snarky comment about how it's a blessing we aren't living in the 70's anymore (good NIGHT, what were they thinking in terms of hair and clothing... ugh!), but that's some good music.
Thankfully, there are SOME folks today who still make rocking christian music: http://youtu.be/O3TsVaFR870 (band's name is Theocracy, and song's name is "I AM")
I didn't realize Phil Keagy was a halfling.
Ahhhhh...brings back memories. One of the best concerts ever! Phil Keaggy to this day is one of my favorite musicians, and Matthew Ward has an amazing voice. I agree with previous comment...what were we thinking in terms of clothes anyway? Especially Phil...weird combination.
He's got better hair than the backup singers--must be "Breck"! :^)
Seriously, where was that music when I was a young Christian suffering through Sandi Patti and such....?
I guess it is relative to context but either the girls and Matthew are giants or Phil has been digitally transformed for the upcoming Hobbit movie!
Great singers and great guitar - wonderful tools in the hands of an amazing Lord of all music.
Phil Keaggy is short. Oh...and the hair...all gone now.
