Monday Music - "Mission Accomplished," by Shai Linne
Rap is a genre of, er, okay, music that we don't do much here. But popular Christian rapper Shai Linne laid it down pretty well about the doctrine of particular redemption in this-here number.

WOW! Not a fan of rap, but...that was really good!!!
Excellent! I'm restarting Death of Death in the Death of Christ by John Owen and this rap is it in a nutshell. Owen's latinate sentence structures and vocabulary destroyed is rap career.
Points for correct (and appropriate) use of "latinate."
It's a funny think, Mizz. What you are saying is true. But for some reason, I "get" Owen for the most part, but Edwards just is a groaning chore to read.
Owen was dean and vice chancellor at Oxford University he thinks like a scientist and he writes like an experienced instructor. I can tell he was an experienced counselor when I read his pastoral works. I may be wrong but from what I've read by Edwards people seem to be hypotheticals. It's as if he didn't spend a lot of time face to face with folks or maybe he didn't enjoy it.
Thanks for posting this! As a 49-year-old homeschooling mom, I don't listen to a whole lot of rap either, but Shai Linne is exceptional. His album "The Attributes of God," based loosely on the A.W. Pink book, is magnificent and leads me to higher praise every time I listen. Also check out his "Spurgeon" rap!
