Monday music: Korean kid cuteness overload

Dude, those guitars are larger than the kids.

Musical quality may be solid B+, but the cuteness factor is A+. And it's unique... which is what gets you in BibChr's Monday Music.

It's a small world after all.
This makes me want to adopt a Korean kid because the ALL seem like music prodigies.

That took a whole lot of hard, hard work. Something tells me they don't play video games.

The two girls in the middle have to be twins. Adorable.

Oh my goodness! What are they... four years old? Look out LAGQ.

David... I suspect you're right about the video games.

My eldest son is five. I have not successfully taught him to tie his shoes yet.

I am a failure as a father.

No video games?? Probably not. You did notice that the title of the video begins with "North Korea" (or "North Korean")? Communist countries often systematically train talented children in the arts and sports when they are just yea tall.

But, hey, at least they look adorable holding those humongous guitars, and they actually sound good. Better than their grown-up TV news anchors. Their news broadcast is an experience to most, IMHO.

Interestingly enough I had just read this Wikipedia article before I opened up Google Reader and soon saw this:

It makes me wonder.

Just to clarify, these are North Korean children fortunate enough to be trained (exactingly) and fed (probably children of government officials). I'm not saying take it down or anything, this amazing performance is a reflection of God's creativity, and what humans made in the image of God are capable of. Having said that, North Korean performers are always outstanding (no matter how old), and they're always smiling, unfortunately, all of their efforts are aimed at glorifying their "Dear Leader" for which they spend their entire lives training (which why NK performers are always so good!). Of course, this is a reflection of the evilness of a man who wants to glorify himself above all people and things. Both beautiful and tragic--a good reminder to pray for North Korea!
