Now that is a sobering perspective.
I read his daily devotions also.
My favorite Spurgeon quote...History shows that whenever God uses a rod to chasten His servants, He always breaks it afterwards, as if He loathed the rod which gave his children pain.
By the way...how is it to open your comments and see THAT picture of Dan?! :)
I guess that's a more eloquent way of saying "no pain, no gain."
