Still being reported as such.
That is something. I have a friend at church who grew up listening to him, you know crazy 80's stuff, I will have to tell her about this.
The half time show of the NFL Championship Game is the most absurd thing done in a sporting event.
It ruins the whole idea of the two most powerful teams in the NFL battling for the Super Bowl trophy.
I don't understand how people like this ridiculous part of the Super Bowl.
I just needed to say that.
Don't hold back, Don, tell us what you really think.

Great catch, DJP!
I didn't make that connection at all, but now I agree w/ you that it was probably there, seeing as how he didn't even cover the whole song, but only the part that let him sing about the WatchTower.
I thought it was more in tribute to Jimi Hendrix. Are people reading too much into him singing that song?
In a similar subliminal vein...

:)
Candy, I know Hendrix had a version of that song, but didn't Bob Dylan write it?
Jimi Hendrix immortalized it.
Dave Mason does his own version of it as well.
So did the Cubs win, or the Ducks?
Prince played it Jimmy style as well.
Can I admire his guitar work and not feel all yucky?

I wonder how pleased the JW leadership were to see all the phallic symbolism in Prince's performance, especially with that flying sheet?
Mostly, I just kept wondering how they were doing all that in the rain.
I was wondering the same thing. I kept expecting the dancing girls to slip and fall. I know I would have, wearing high heels and all. I also wonder how they kept all electical equipment safe.
everything is wireless - mikes, instruments, etc.
Got it!
And some JW's I know also let me know!
In God's Grace,
Ric
