I love Phil Keaggy. His "Hymnsongs" is one of my favorite CDs.
His guitar playing is far superior to his singing.
I keep trying to get my guitar playing son interested in Keaggy's music.
You need to get him interested in his hair cut.
I actually have this DVD. I've loved Keaggy for years since I first bought a copy of the live concert he did with 2nd Chapter of Acts and a band called David.
As for his singing, his voice always reminded me of a higher-pitched Paul McCartney.
Ever heard his "Master and the Musician" LP? Great stuff.
I have this, and many more of his (now) cds. I used to have his albums. He is absolutely amazing in concert, and a very humble man.
Wow, sounded like several other guitars playing along with him. Sweet cord in there at the end. Think I'll play it again.

Wow...absolutely gorgeous. Solameanie, I totally agree with you about the Paul McCartney vibe; I've always thought that.
We actually used to play Phil when I first started working at this radio station, 27 years ago! We played "Let Everything Else Go" and "Who Will Speak Up for the Little Ones?", among others.
"Little ones" is very sweet, genuine tearjerker. He is a terrific talent.
I've actually found a ton of fun stuff on Youtube lately that I'll be cycling through. Fun for me, anyway!
And isn't that kind of the idea of a blog?
Absolutely. I tend to think of my blog as my own litle magazine, over which I have complete control. :)
So if I want to blog about Tim Challies one day and "Lost" the next, that's my perogative. :)
