Birds on the Wires (creative music video)
Jarbas Agnelli saw a picture of birds on wires, and decided to compose a song, using their positions as notes. Here's the result:

The working title for this song was, "Waiting for the Windshield," but the NEA funding fell through and the artist went all simple.

I like it.
The way that the natural world so flawlessly reflects concepts of mathematics (and thus, music) has always amazed me. How awesome is it that something as simple as the arrangements of birds on telephone wires can be turned not only into a song, but a rather beautiful one.
Of course, it's all just the product of eons of random chance and progression from a primordial soup.

Personally I think this has all the creative originality PhotoShop can offer.

Obviously the birds could have yielded an entirely different, and un-beautiful tune. But the glory in this is the artist saw the potential order in the creation and created as an homage to the CREATOR. That is what good artists do.
I like it.
Our local PBS station (KERA Dallas) runs a commercial with a similar theme - frustrated composer rips sheet music from his pad, stares out the window at birds on the telephone wires, and a song is born...
