Wow, I can't tell you how amazing it feels to see that. But I suppose you pretty much know. My first Grand-blessed-event is due in April also. Thanks for reminding me of the reality of that. I haven't seen a graphical progress report yet but I share your joy!

BABY!!! Did they find out what they're having? :-D

He looks just like you! :-) Or should that be, she looks just like you? Or are they like our kids, preferring to be surprised?

Yep.

Well, I think the baby looks like its mama, who is like me in many ways (poor girl)... but not in looks (blessed girl).

Amazing the pictures of non-persons that they can generate, isn't it? Really helps solidify the truth that a fetus isn't an actual human.

[/sarcasm]

That's a wonderful picture! Congratulations!

You know, child-safety experts recommend against posting pictures of your children in public venues. ;)

Congratulations!

So you have to wait 'til April to find out if you'll be a gramdma or a grandpa?

DJP said...

No.

Soooooo beautiful. :o) How can anyone look at that and not be awestruck?!?

Is Mama feeling better these days, Dan?

DJP said...

Yes, thanks, she's feeling a good bit better. Actually had a hefty appetite for Thanksgiving - though she lost a little weight.

(Same could not be said for grandpa, more's the pity.)

Oh that's exciting :)

That middle part of pregnancy can be the most fun. Past the sick stage, and not yet to the huge-and-uncomfortable stage.

And just think of next Christmas!

Keep us posted...

Ultrasounds are such a gift from God, for all kinds of reasons. Love itl.

That brings back wonderful memories.

Congratulations to you and the whole family!

I have the same questions when I see this ultrasound photo as when I saw my daughters'. It was only a few months ago when the technician was saying..."there's her arm, her feet, her head." I'm thinking, I don't see anything there. Of course, when I was given the inkblot test and asked what I saw, I said "a piece of paper with ink all over it."

LOL @ SandMan

wow, Dan. I guess you're one of those people who needed to "get over your love affair with the fetus", as stated by a famous pro-abortionist whose name escapes me.

Ultrasounds are far better quality today than when my kids were in utero. They always looked like weather radar to me, had to have the doctor interpret them for me.

Blessings on gma and gpa, mom and dad and the little one pictured.

So cool, sooooooooooooo cool.

Congratulations Grand-Dad.

So cool. We go in for our 20-week Monday. They're recording it on DVD for us, just in time to go visit the grandparents. They'll be so happy to see that, we may not have to bring any other presents.

Don't forget to remind your DAOD about the upcoming global one-child-only policy. We have to save the environment, after all.

DJP said...

Yeah, I'll get right on that.

Congrats, Dan! (I do wish that I could tell where your grandbaby's head and arms and legs are, though....) :)
