Admittedly, my usual response to anything labeled global is not positive. But this was amazing. Thank you for posting a little brightness on an otherwise bleak morning.

Loved it.

I used to work near the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica (where the first guy was playing), and for every loony tune, there was also someone who could really, really sing or play. They used to make a pretty decent living at it too.

Oh, and Al, that thought is great. Is that original to your teacher, or was s/he quoting it?
