Monday music: "Farewell to Nova Scotia," Off Kilter

Combining a Mother's Day and a Monday Music post:
Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the LORD your God is giving you (Exodus 20:12)

He who ... chases away his mother
is a son who brings shame and reproach (Proverbs 19:26)

Let your... mother be glad;
let her who bore you rejoice (Proverbs 23:25)

The eye that ... scorns to obey a mother will be picked out by the ravens of the valley
 and eaten by the vultures (Proverbs 30:17)

Her children rise up and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:
"Many women have done excellently,
but you surpass them all."
Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain,
but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
Give her of the fruit of her hands,
and let her works praise her in the gates (Proverbs 31:28-31)
Happy Mother's Day to all the godly mothers who read BibChr! Hope your children (and husbands) honored you appropriately!

My dear wife likes this group, so — extending some extra TLC for my children's worthy mother — here's another one for you, Valerie!

Well THAT was a rollicking start to the morning, although Jingle Bells was a bit incongruous ;D

I just wish the bassist wouldn't hike the blasted gitfiddle so far up under his arms. That looks so dorky.

Well I hope she likes them because they are a talented lot or they have the good sense to keep the drummer in a cage and not because they are men wearing skirts.
