Monday music: a Super Mario Bros. Monday

Reader April Halstead shows that she knows what makes for a Monday Music candidate, with this Bulgarian performance of the Super Mario Bros. theme on accordions:

Then Greg Patillo gives us a beatboxized flute version:

And finally... someone's parents are saying, "We paid for violin lessons for this?"

(He sure did dress nicely for it, though.)

Not that I don't like a good violin, but the Mario music is like "It's a Small World" in my house. I require my kids have to have the mute on to play. :) Happy Monday Dan.

Seeing three Bulgarian accordionists playing the Mario theme song reminds me of a Gary Larson cartoon. However, the violinist playing the Mario theme is very Fritz Kreisler-esque in a totally awesome way.

Mario was part of my homeschool curriculum growing up.

The violin? Meh.

The accordions? Interesting and kinda cool.

The flute? Now that guy impressed me!
