Justin Taylor jumps the shark

Actually I am mostly doing this post to get this title at the end of this meta.

It will be worth it.

Well pilgrim my wife does appreciate those movies but that's why there are two dvd players in my house.

Now I'm going to go watch El Dorado pilgrim and then maybe Hondo.

Vaya con Dios pilgrim.

In addition, by posting that title, your man card is safe - for now.

It's a tenuous thing, I know. One must constantly work at it. Denial is not an option.

JT, OTOH...

However, kissing up to your wife should always be considered manly, so he gets a pass : )

That is wierd.

Of course, if I'd done it, it would have read:

Has Justin Taylor been drinking???

But, true confession. I read the books as a young believer in my college days and kind of liked them.

Of course, now, as a much more mature Christian, I've set aside such childish things.

I read that wonderful Left Be-Hind series. They just make me weep.

Okay, I kind of get it now (after searching for the term "jumps the shark"). However--I still don't get what you said in the body of your post. Clarify, please? (i.e., if it won't take up too much of your time from writing your epic!)

Okay, I just realized what you meant. Yes, it WAS there when I clicked on JT's link yesterday....

"...Your next stop: The Twilight Zone."

(And here's the great Wiki entry that provides the history and application of the phrase "jumping the shark"!)
