Well, now we know!
AMAZING indie work. Regular readers will particularly love a touch at about 1:29.
(See, since my substantial contribution for the day is up over at Pyro, I can afford to be silly here.)

Dan,
Ok, the yell at 1:29. It has a name. What do they call that? I'm being serious. I figure since you pointed that out you know. It has been driving me crazy for months because I try to tell people about it but they think I'm mad.
Ah... the ol' Wilhelm. You hear it everywhere.
Brad, the word you're searching for is... Wilhelm!
re: the infamous - and oft-discussed - "Wilhelm", thanks for pointing it out!
Due to being at work, I hadn't played the video loud enough to hear it, and as a result, was feeling very much the ir-regular-reader, not having a clue what you were referring to!
Why do I feel some kind of pride that I saw this video yesterday, before you posted it?
Very well done. Good ear on hearing the scream. I missed it the first time too. :)
Oh, the Wilhelm thing. I thought you referring to the fact that it looks like quotation marks crashing into the ground...
You need to somehow incorporate the Wilhelm over at Pyro when you shoot down the emergents.
There's got to be an app for that.
I thought the post at Pyro was exceptionally well done this morning. I was haggling with some local atheists on a local interest blog associated with our town. It's funny how I am perceived as the shrill, bitter voice where as everyone opposing me is thoughtfully engaged with the arguments.
Yes! Praise the Lord I am not insane. Now, if only I could find another person who saw the movie "The Wolfing"....
By the way, Phil, I just want to say that I really love your writing.
I almost forgot the name of the scream until I started to think to myself, "William? No...[German sounding?]...Wilhelm? Wilhelm. That has to be it."
Eclectic indeed! Star Wars meets Star Trek meets scream from a cowboy with a German name!
I was watching for a FOOTnote to pop up at 1:29. Alas...the video has endnotes. :(
